The Harvest: Great flowering and fruit set. A hot summer suggesting a perfect season. Coolness set in after a wet weather spell in February.
Tasting Notes: This wine underwent 12 hours of skin contact before being processed.
Fined and settled the clear juice was racked to ferment at a low temperature for the purpose of retaining classic fresh and vibrant Riesling characters.
This wine spent a brief time on yeast lees.
Vibrant flavours of sweet grapefruit leading into a smooth honeysuckle midpalate, with a crisp apple finish. Aromas of lime and freshly cut apple leap from the glass of this delicately scented wine.
This fresh, vibrant wine has a chalky spin of acidity running through it. And combined with the complexity of extended skin contact shows incredible minerality.
A good strong balance between sweetness and acidity, and reflects the traditional minerality characters of the vineyard.
