Weka River is a boutique vineyard located on the western side of the Waipara Valley.  It was first planted in 1999 with Riesling, followed by Pinot Noir.  Recently, we have added plantings of Sauvignon Blanc.

Weka River’s owner and viticulturalist, Brent “Harry” Harris has worked alongside other viticulturalists in the Waipara region for the past 25 vintages.  Harry is a well known personality throughout the district, and is certainly not shy of moving outside the square to create an environment and employ techniques that provide the best possible opportunity for the production of unique and fine wines.

Weka River Vineyard is driven by the anticipation and excitement of each vintage, and by producing wines of high quality.
